The Case Factory is a Stockholm based company offering collections of hand crafted exclusive leather cases and covers for iPhones, iPads, MacBooks, and passports, and also different kind of wallets. Smart phones and tablets are used by a broad spectrum of the population, young and old, boys and girls. Apart from serving to protect the mobile phone, the case has increasingly become a way to express personal style and preferences, just like any other fashion accessory.
By introducing two collections per year, reflecting fashion trends in color, texture and pattern, you will be able to match our products with bags and shoes from the world’s leading fashion houses. Our cases are produced with leather from the best tanneries in Italy, including our family-owned tannery. Together, these tanneries supply leather to companies such as Prada, Hermes, Bottega Veneta, Tod’s and Chanel among others. Our unique and exclusive products are always handcrafted with the best leather available.
In October 2012 we opened our first Flagship store at Nybrogatan 26 in Stockholm. Please pass by if you are in the neighbourhood.
Our creative inspiration and product heritage is very much derived from our Italian family history. The art of tanning and transforming leather into beautiful products has been an integral part of the family since the beginning of the 20th century.
The Case Factory’s Angela Martarelli had a great grandfather who founded the company Nazareno Gabrielli in 1907 in her native city of Tolentino located in the Marche region. Nazareno Gabrielli quickly became famous in Italy when in 1927, the King of Savoia wanted the interior of his train wagon to be made of leather.
By this time the company grew quickly and became synonymous with some of the most exclusive handcrafted leather products Made in Italy. The following generation acquired one of the tanneries supplying leather and shortly after, the family acquired Poltrona Frau which today is one of the world’s leading producers of exclusive leather furniture.
Until the listing on the Milan stock exchange, the company was controlled by Angela’s uncle and today Poltrona Frau also owns the internationally famous brands Cappellini, Cassina and Thonet.
